Tableaux of insects, fruit and other natural materials, arranged against a black background. Each image is digitally composed from up to 150 photographs to achieve sharpness and detail.The series refers to Dead Frog with Flies by Ambrosius Bosschaert II and F. Bordewijk’s 1935 text ‘Op Bosschaerts dode kikvors’, from De laatste eer.
